The Elting Memorial Library is a free association public library. This means that our board of trustees and the library’s budget are voted upon by association members present at the library’s annual meeting in January.
All residents of the Town of New Paltz (including the Village) who are of voting age are members of the association. No financial contribution is required to be a member.
