The Library’s Collection

The Elting Memorial Library provides access to a variety of materials including fiction and nonfiction books, reference books, best sellers, audio books, large print books, ebooks, and DVDs, videos, and CDs. We also have a large collection of newspapers, periodicals, and magazines, as well as various online databases.. Our Haviland-Heidgerd Historical Collection offers access to the best local history collection in the Hudson Valley. Computers with internet access are available for public use. Through our connection with the Mid-Hudson Library System, we also provide access to an unlimited amount of information on a variety of topics.

You can search library materials in our library or throughout the Mid-Hudson Library System online. If you are a cardholder within the Mid-Hudson Library System, you can log onto your personal account using the fourteen digit code on the back of your library card. From there you can renew books, check out new ones, put items on hold, and request notification when the library system acquires an item you may be interested in checking out. You can also change personal information as required. Click Here to go to Mid-Hudson Library System.
