In addition to our growing Teen book collection, Elting Memorial Library now offers:
- Study Rooms closed until further notice
Our two study rooms each comfortably seat 8, but are an ideal space for doing homework, tutoring (unpaid only), or plain old studying. You should inquire at the circulation desk about their availability. Teens under fourteen must have adult supervision.
- Reserved Computers Temporarily not available
In an effort to better meet the high demand for public computers, the library has set up three teen computers near the Young Adult and Science Fiction Collections. These computers are only to be used by school -aged teens and are not intended for adult use. This allows teens a bit more freedom to relax in a safe environment.
- Consider joining our active and enjoyable Teen Advisory group. Many special programs and events are planned and carried out through this teen group. Meet other teens and have fun deciding on things for our local young people to do. Refreshments are served. Film nights, themed events and trips to Broadway plays are some of the recent events that have happened!
Teen events will be noted on the library’s events calendar.
