The Library FairThe Elting Library Book Fair will be held on July 9th & 10th, 2011 (rain or shine) from 9:00 to 4:00. Along with an amazing collection of books for sale, the library fair also offers great finds on jewelry, crafts, toys and games, plants, antiques, and artwork. There’s lots of food too!

There is an early bird sale of books on Saturday from 8:00 to 9:00 am for a ten dollar donation per person. Book sales also continue on Sunday from 9:00 to 3:00

The library fair features the best raffle in town and a silent auction. The auction includes wonderful artwork, furniture, brand new bikes, special jewelry, pottery, wine, and more--all donated by our generous supporters! You do not have to be present to win at the raffle or silent auction, but you must be present to bid.


To Donate Books or Other Items to the Library Fair

 The book shed is full, Please wait until May to donate books. We are planning a speical early May book sale. Book donations are accepted all year except when there is snow on the ground. We do not accept Reader’s Digest, textbooks, or current magazines. Magazines prior to 1950 are accepted. No encyclopedia sets are accepted except for Britannica. We will pick up large gift donations. To arrange for a pickup please call the library at 255-5030, or Sally Rhoads at 255-0253. Tax receipts are given for estate or other large donations upon request.

We also accept plants (labeled), jewelry, small collectibles, flea market items, toys and games, antiques and artwork. Please be thoughtful of our volunteers and DO NOT donate clothing, dirty items, textbooks, popular magazines, or condensed books.

If you like to bake, the food booth can use cookies, muffins, brownies, and cakes.
