Astronomer Amy (the Queen of Outer Space) Donnelly, will offer "What's Up in 2012: News from Outer Space." Topics include: the last Venus transit of the century, new comets, asteroids, why certain planets appear when they do, the new Earth-like planets discovered recently and more. Q&A period to follow. Ms. Donnelly is an astronomy educator and director of the Dr. Robert Richman Planetarium, a traveling star-dome . This program is free and open to all.

The teen advisory group presents Mardi Gras! Great decorations..Come in costume if you like (prizes) or buy a small mask or make your own here. Tastings of authentic New Orleans' gumbo, King cake, Mardi Gras punch, moon pies and more. Recorded and live music. Find the "baby" in your piece of cake and be king or queen of the event! "Abbott & Costello go to Mars" (really the Mardi Gras) to be shown at the end of the party.

Hudson Valley Photo presents a free 90 minute presentation of the "ins and outs" of Adobe Photoshop. Topics: masking, layers, and color correction. All questions welcomed and answered! Instructor Stephen Blauweiss has been an instructor at Pratt Institute for nearly a decade and a principal trainer at CBS TV and the New York Times.
