Room Use for Meetings and/or Programs

The Steinberg Room is the largest programming room with space for a maximum of about 50 attendees in audience seating.  The room can also hold up to four removable tables with room for 6-8 attendees per table.  The room is equipped with AV equipment, a podium, and a screen, as well as a microphone and speakers.  The Steinberg Room also has a Hearing Loop.

The East Room is in the old building.  There is a large meeting table which holds 10-12 attendees.  There is no AV equipment but for a small group a portable screen and projector can be set up with prior arrangement.  While set apart from most of the library’s space, the East Room does not have a door to close out sound.  Important to note: as part of the old building, there are uneven wooden floor boards and narrow doorways to access the room.

East Room

The West Room is in the old building.  There are small square tables which can be moved, put together to form a large meeting table or separated for small group work.  The maximum seating is 9-10 attendees.  The West Room does not have a door to close out sound.  Important to note: as part of the old building, there are uneven wooden floor boards and narrow doorways to access the room.

The Vera Rushforth Garden is a three-season outdoor courtyard space ideal for messy or open-air events such as art or music.  Suitable for approximately 8 to 25 participants.  Please have a cancellation plan or rain date in mind, as there may not be indoor space available in case of inclement weather. If not in use for a program or meeting, the courtyard is open to the public to use.
