
Legacy Giving
Help ensure that your library remains an integral part of our community for many years.
Gifts can be made to the general fund or be restricted to a project or area that is important to you. Gifts can also be given in memory of a loved one.
There are many ways you can contribute to the library’s future.
Ways to Make a Difference
Remember Elting in your will or estate
Designate Elting as a beneficiary for your life insurance, annuity, bank, brokerage or health savings accounts
Roll over your federal Required Minimum Withdrawal (RMD) directly from your retirement account to Elting. A direct rollover is not taxable
Establish a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).
You can make a single tax deductible investment in a DAF. You can make contributions to qualified charitable institutions, like Elting, while your investment continues to grow. The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is a resource for this. Contact them for details.
Your attorney, financial planner or investment company can help you set up any of these options.
