Our staff at the front desk are happy to answer questions you have regarding your library account but you can also use the online catalog to check the status of holds and return dates, change your library pin, access your reading history, and more by logging into your account.
A Note From Library Director, Crystal Middleton
Greetings!
Thank you all for helping us celebrate Banned Books at the beginning of October. Also, you helped us gather food items for the Ulster County Food Fight. This week, we are seeing the amazing Literary Pumpkins coming in to compete for the best of categories and prizes. Finally, don’t forget we want your contribution to be included in the library’s Anniversary Quilt! You can complete your quilt square this Thursday, 10/30, between 1 and 6 PM by working with a professional quilter at a Pop-Up Quilt Square Workshop. Bring your materials and your ideas and Jill will help guide you. Find out more HERE.

Serving New Paltz for Over 100 Years
In 1909, members of the New Paltz Study Club were the first to realize the need for a free library association in the village of New Paltz. Seven women from the club formed a committee and opened a reading room on the second floor of the building at 60-62 Main Street.
The Study Club assumed the expenses and hired Miss Flora Schoonmaker as librarian. It wasn’t long before the library outgrew it’s first home on Main Street and the search for a new building began.
Your donation helps us provide many of our services, programs, resources, and collections to the community. We could not do this without your support.
